After-hours access is permitted by magnetic card for Geophysical Institute and IARC faculty, staff and students.

The Keith B. Mather Library is the most northern special library in the United States. It supports both the Geophysical Institute (GI) and the International Arctic Research Center (IARC) at the University of Alaska as well as the geophysical research community. The collection areas include the following:
